Mid Range XL FAQ

How is the XL different from the Mid Range?

The Mid Range XL adds larger 16″ wheels, up to 32″ tires, a 2″ integrated frame lift, a reinforced tongue, and 18″ of ground clearance — built for moderate to heavier off-roading versus the Mid Range’s light-to-moderate range.

What can tow a Mid Range XL?

With a 2,900 lb GVWR and average built weights of 1,715–1,920 lbs, most full-size SUVs and trucks can tow it. Check your vehicle’s rated towing capacity to confirm.

What tire and lug options are there?

You can spec 235/85/R16 (approx. 32″) or 265/70/R16 (approx. 31.5″) tires, with a 6 on 5.5 or 5 on 5 lug pattern to match most foreign and domestic tow vehicles.

How is it built and where?

Every Mid Range XL is hand-built to order in the USA. Because each trailer is custom, your final spec and price are confirmed when you configure your build with a Hiker trailer expert.
