Living Room Mode™
Transform your truck bed into a full standing space to cook, change, and hang out inside.

Adapt
Everyone camps differently. The X1 was designed from the ground up to be the most flexible, customizable camper of its kind — then Hiker helps you spec it to your truck and your trips.

Adapt
Five systems that let the X1 change with every trip.
Transform your truck bed into a full standing space to cook, change, and hang out inside.
Mount gear securely at eye level, easy to find and off your valuable floor space.
No drilling, no zip ties. Purpose-built gear ports let you customize endlessly.
Wire chases and solar ports allow clean, tidy electrical routing. No more loose wires.

Take shelter
A bad night’s sleep ruins everything. The tent and sleeping loft aren’t an afterthought — they’re the centerpiece. Spacious, comfortable, reliable.
The sleeping loft is bigger than most, with 20 inches of extra room beyond your mattress to stash night-time gear — or use it as a quick pass-through into the truck bed.

Pacific Northwest rain storms and sudden freezes inspired an industry-leading 4-season tent: burly 9-ounce marine-grade material that will never delaminate.

Professional-grade
Inspired by commercial trade caps, the weather-proof, super-duty canopy is the ultimate gear locker for expensive tools and adventure equipment.
Ultra-wide, completely unobstructed side access to grab your stuff and get on with the day.
Options for mounting your gear mean everything ends up right where you need it.
Three key-matched locking handles keep gear out of the weather and out of harm’s way.

Built forever
With unparalleled build quality and an aerospace pedigree, the X1 is deliberately over-engineered to outlast your truck — the same build-it-once philosophy behind every Hiker trailer.
Pick your look
Choose from six premium powder-coated aluminum colors and two tent fabric colors.

Included on every build
Every X1 Camper comes loaded with the following standard features.

Why we carry it
“It’s the same idea as our trailers — overbuild it, make it customizable, and let people camp their way. It just happens to live in your truck bed.”
Good to know
The X1 fits 35+ mid-size and full-size truck, bed, and year combinations — from a Tacoma or Ranger up to an F-350, Ram 3500, or Rivian R1T. RamBox and CarbonPro beds are not compatible. Check the fitment table above, and a Hiker expert will confirm your exact bed before you order.
Campers are built to order and are typically ready in about 12 weeks (estimated). Your Hiker expert will confirm the current lead time when you configure your build.
Depending on fitment, the camper weighs roughly 351–382 lbs — well inside the payload of the trucks it fits, even with gear, a mattress, and accessories on board.
Yes. The tent uses burly 9-ounce marine-grade fabric that won’t delaminate, plus the Flow State™ vent system to manage condensation. For hard freezes, add the ThermaPuff™ insulation kit and ceiling panel.
Every X1 Camper is covered by a 5-year warranty.
Absolutely. The X1 mounts in your bed and leaves your hitch free, so plenty of owners run a camper up front and a Hiker trailer behind.
